Privacy policy
Gully4Glory
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Gully4Glory is a cricket scoring app made by Xevrilo. This policy explains, in plain words, what the app keeps and where. The short version: there is no account, everything you enter stays on your phone, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you share a file yourself.
No account, nothing collected
- You do not need an account, and there is no sign-in. The app has no servers: it does not send your data to us or to anyone else.
- This version has no analytics, no ads and no tracking. We do not collect, sell or share any personal data.
- The app can ask your phone whether it is connected to the internet, only to show that it works offline. This reads the phone's own setting and sends nothing.
What the app keeps on your phone
- Matches you score: teams, players, every ball, results, tournaments, tags and street games.
- Players and teams you add: names, optional nicknames, shirt numbers, playing styles and team crests.
- Pictures, videos and voice notes you choose or record yourself: a player's photo, a team or sponsor logo, video clips you link to a ball, and short voice notes about a ball.
- Your own profile and player card, if you make one: your name, a player code and a security key that proves your matches and corrections come from you.
- Your settings, such as the theme and scoring options, and a small list of recent app errors to help fix problems.
It stays on your phone
Everything above is kept only on your phone, in the app's own storage.
The app does not back itself up automatically. If your phone is lost or reset, your matches are gone unless you made a backup file yourself (Me ▸ Backup and export).
What each permission is for
- Camera: only to scan a player card QR code (and a match sent by QR code). Nothing is recorded or kept.
- Photos and videos: only the pictures and clips you pick yourself, for a player's photo, a team logo or a ball's video clip. The app never reads your gallery on its own.
- Microphone: only while you record a voice note for a ball. The note stays on your phone.
- Notifications: only for the match reminders you set. They are your phone's own reminders; nothing goes online.
- You can say no to any of these. The rest of the app keeps working; only that feature waits until you allow it in the phone's settings.
Sharing happens only when you share a file
- When you share a match, a scorecard picture, a player card, a tournament, a dispute, a video clip, a voice note or a backup, the app makes a file and hands it to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp, Bluetooth or email). That app then handles it under its own privacy policy.
- A shared match contains the names of the players in it, and photos only if you choose to include them. A player card contains your name, your player code, your security key and, only if you choose, your photo.
- Files you receive are opened only when you open them. They stay on your phone.
"Report a problem"
Report a problem writes a ready message with the app version, your phone model, the Android version and the last few app errors (time, screen and technical details, with names removed). It opens in an app you choose, such as WhatsApp or email, and you decide whether to send it.
An optional diagnostics file adds your settings and the on-phone error log. It includes a match only if you choose one. Nothing is uploaded by the app.
Children
- The app is not made for children under 13, and is meant to be used by people aged 13 and over.
- Young players are often scored in matches by an adult scorer. The app keeps only what the scorer types in (usually a name) and an optional photo. There are no public profiles in this version, and nothing is published online.
- If you score children, use only the details you need, and add photos or videos only with a parent's or the organiser's agreement.
Deleting your data
- You can delete matches and tournaments in the app; they wait in Recently deleted for 30 days, then they are removed. Players and teams can be archived (hidden), and a team that never played can be deleted.
- You can delete your profile and player card at Me ▸ My profile.
- Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android settings, removes everything it kept on the phone. Copies you already sent to other people stay on their phones; ask them to delete them.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before any online features (such as accounts, live links or shared tournaments), ads or payments are added, and the app will tell you what changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
